snow

It isn't even Halloween and we are in the middle of our first major snowstorm. The snow total for Westminster, as of an hour ago, is Westminster  27.7". I am ready for this to end and for the sun to shine again. Bella, however, is thoroughly enjoying the snow (even if it is deeper than she is tall). I should have taken a video of her walking in the snow - it was too funny. Here are a few pictures of my snow covered dog.

 

 

She came in the house and shook off all that snow on to the carpet. It looked like it had snowed in the house.

While walking Bella today I saw this giant bee. Yes, it was dead, but it still looked impressive. Look at all the pollen covering the bee. (Taken with my iPhone.)

Here are more pictures from the Dragon Boat Festival. The newspaper said that over 100,000 people attended the event. My friend, Kevon, competed in the races so you will see several pictures of her and her team.

About a month ago I spent some time with my old neighbor, Rex. It was the first time I was able to sit down and hang out with him. It was so much fun to catch up on all the neighborhood gossip and hear his stories from days gone by. He was nice enough to let me take a few pictures of him. His wife, Eva, snuck in to the pictures as well.
