As fun as the show is, there is a reason for it. Every year Cable Positive raises money for the fight against AIDS. According to the Cable Positive web site, the "The cast of cable execs and the crowd of over 150 industry activists helped the chapter raise over $47,000 for local AIDS organizations in the Denver region."

lincoln head memorial
A few weeks ago I went to my friend Courtney's baby shower just outside of Laramie, WY in Medicine Bow National Forest. The directions to the shower said to meet at the Lincoln Head Memorial. I didn't know it really was a big giant Lincoln head.

Many people were stopping to take pictures. Who knew that a giant Lincoln head in the middle of Wyoming would draw such a crowd.
The night before the shower I got this picture of the sunset with light rays shooting out from behind the clouds.

amazing sunset
